Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating a SnipeWise account — by ticking the agreement checkbox on the signup form or by signing up with Google or Facebook after accepting these terms — you agree to this Terms of Service and to our collection and use of data as described in Section 5. If you do not agree, do not create an account.

2. The service

SnipeWise is an eBay auction-sniping service. You tell us the eBay item and your maximum bid; we place your bid in the final seconds of the auction on your behalf so you can win at the lowest possible price. SnipeWise is not affiliated with or endorsed by eBay Inc.

• You must provide accurate eBay item information and a maximum bid you are genuinely willing to pay.
• We place bids as your agent. A winning bid is a binding commitment between you and the eBay seller — SnipeWise is not a party to the sale.
• We do our best to place every bid on time, but we do not guarantee any auction outcome. Network conditions, eBay availability, and timing may affect results.

3. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use SnipeWise.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and API keys confidential and for all activity under your account, including actions taken by AI agents you authorize.
• One account per person. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt to defraud other users, or violate these terms.

4. Billing

• Free trial: new accounts receive a 30-day trial (or 3 fired snipes, whichever comes first). A card is required to start the trial; you are not charged during the trial and may cancel at any time.
• Subscription: $7.99/month or $79/year, renewing automatically until cancelled. Subscription wins carry no commission.
• Pay per win: alternatively, pay a 1% commission on each won auction, deducted from pre-funded credit. Credit packs never expire.
• You will never be charged both a subscription and commission on the same win.
• Refunds are handled case by case. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us may result in account suspension.

5. Device and connection data

To protect your account, prevent fraud, and verify authorized use, we automatically record the following when you sign up, sign in, or begin a payment:

• Your IP address and browser or device identifier;
• The date, time, and type of action (for example: signup, login, top-up, subscription, or an AI-agent-authorized payment confirmation).

We keep this data for as long as your account is active and for up to 7 years afterward to meet our legal and financial record-keeping obligations. We do not sell it.

6. Payment disputes and authorization evidence

Every payment on SnipeWise is authorized by you — by entering your card, by confirming a checkout, or by explicitly approving an AI-agent payment confirmation. If you dispute a charge with your bank, you agree that we may submit evidence that the charge was authorized, including your account records, signup and payment IP addresses, confirmation transcripts, and records of the services delivered to you.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: interfere with or disrupt the service; attempt to access other users' accounts; use the service for any unlawful purpose; or resell or scrape the service without our written permission.

8. Termination

You may cancel your subscription or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraud or chargeback abuse, or remain inactive with an unpaid balance. Unused credit is non-refundable except where required by law.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnipeWise's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the outcome of any eBay auction.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the version number and effective date above, and we may ask you to accept the new version before continuing to use the service. Your account records which version you accepted.
